God created us for relationships, and it is through connection with others that we experience the full life He intends for us. Because genuine relationships can be hard to find, Small Groups exist to make them accessible, practical, and life-giving.

Leading a Small Group is not about being perfect — it’s about serving others by creating space for connection and growth. You can host a group by choosing a topic or shared interest and deciding when and where to meet, whether that’s around a study, activity, or simple fellowship.
We provide the tools you need to succeed, including Leader Training and a directory to help people find your group easily. We believe lives are changed one semester at a time, and as a leader, you play an important part in that journey.

Small Groups often look like friends sharing a meal, playing sports, or discussing a topic of interest. At their core, they are about relationships more than activities. You can expect to connect with others, enjoy meaningful conversation, and share in prayer.
How often does a Small Group meet? +
Small Groups meet during three semesters each year: winter/spring, summer, and fall. Most groups meet weekly, but they are designed to fit into your life even if you cannot attend every week.
Where do Small Groups meet? +
Small Groups meet throughout San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
How long does a Small Group stay together? +
Most groups meet for one semester at a time, allowing people to join easily and try different groups throughout the year. Some groups choose to continue together, but new members are always welcome.
Is there childcare available? +
Childcare depends on the individual group. Each group listing in the directory will note whether childcare is provided.
What if I don’t like the first group I try? +
It may take trying a couple of groups to find the right fit, and that’s completely normal. We encourage you to explore a few options and not give up — there is a group for everyone, including you.
