About us

Find freedom and healing.

We believe God desires freedom for every person—freedom from fear, shame, and past hurts. At CFC, we walk alongside one another as we grow, heal, and experience God’s grace. Freedom isn’t instant, but it is possible. Together, we learn how to live fully in the life Christ offers.

Our values

The things we hold on to.

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

  1. 01

    Love

We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another.

  2. 02

    Worship

We strive to glorify God through worship that is rooted in scripture, and that draws us closer to Him.

  3. 03

    Service

We are called to serve our community and those in need, through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness.

  4. 04

    Evangelism

We seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people, and to share the gospel through both deed and word.

  5. 05

    Discipleship

We prioritize the practice of discipling others in the faith, helping them to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God.

  6. 06

    Stewardship

We strive to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us, using them to meet the needs of the church and community.

  7. 07

    Unity

We seek to foster unity in diversity, standing together as a church family united in our purpose of sharing God’s love.

  8. 08

    Holiness

We strive to be a holy people, living in obedience to God’s Word and in surrender to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

  9. 09

    Mission

We seek to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples of Jesus Christ in our region and beyond.

Our beliefs

What we believe.

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

01

Scripture Authority

We believe the Old and New Testaments are fully inspired by God and the final authority for faith and life.

02

Trinitarian God

We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

03

Christ’s Nature

We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is fully God and fully man.

04

Human Sinfulness

We believe humanity was created in God’s image but fell into sin, bringing both physical and spiritual death, and that all people inherit a sinful nature.

05

Biblical Sexuality

We believe sexual intimacy is designed by God for marriage between one man and one woman, and this is an important part of church membership.

06

Substitutionary Atonement

We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitute, and that all who believe in Him are justified through His shed blood.

07

Resurrection Life

We believe Jesus rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now serves as our High Priest and Advocate.

08

Second Coming

We believe Jesus Christ will personally return again.

09

New Birth

We believe all who repent and believe in Jesus are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God.

10

Spirit Empowerment

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers for service and includes spiritual gifts and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

11

Spiritual Authority

We believe in being under authority as the basis for exercising authority in the church and in personal conduct.

12

Eternal Destiny

We believe in the resurrection of the just and unjust, eternal life for the redeemed, and eternal separation for those who reject salvation.

13

Universal Church

We believe the true Church is made up of all who are redeemed by Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and that local church membership requires new birth and confession of faith.

14

Church Ordinances

We believe Jesus established baptism and communion as acts of obedience and remembrance of His death and resurrection.

15

Divine Healing

We believe healing is provided for in Scripture and is part of the Gospel.

16

Sanctified Life

We believe holiness is essential to seeing the Lord and that sanctification begins at salvation and continues throughout the Christian life.

17

Great Commission

We believe Jesus commands us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them to obey His Word.

18

Continual Revelation

We remain open to further truth the Holy Spirit reveals through Scripture.

Common questions

Wondering about something?

Here are the questions we hear most. If yours isn't here, we'd love to help.

What will happen when I visit for the first time? +

If you’re visiting for the first time, relax — we won’t embarrass you, ask you to stand up, or pressure you to give money. We understand that many people prefer to check out a church and remain anonymous at first, and that’s completely okay with us.

Come as you are, enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, and see if CFC feels like home for you.

What do I wear to attend your services? +

You’ll see everything from casual clothing to business attire at our weekend services. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable — CFC is not about appearances, but about people encountering God.

Where are you located? +

CFC San Antonio is located on the N Loop 1604 Access Road at the Bulverde exit. Check out the map on our Contact page for directions.

Is there Spanish translation? +

Yes. Spanish translation is available at our Sunday 10 AM service. Traducción al español disponible los domingos a las 10 AM.

How many services do you have on the weekend? +

We offer two dynamic weekend services designed to fit a variety of schedules and worship preferences, including those who work weekends and may not be able to attend a traditional Sunday morning service.

Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

What about my children? +

Your children are a top priority at CFC. Our mother’s room located at the back of the sanctuary is clean and equipped with a screen to view the service. We also offer engaging classrooms for children and youth designed to help them grow in their faith.

How can I meet others and get connected? +

There are many ways to get connected at CFC. A great place to start is our Growth Track. Small Groups are also a wonderful way to build relationships and grow in your faith.

Through these opportunities, you can form meaningful friendships, learn more about our church, and take your next steps spiritually.

How can I be discipled and grow? +

Our heart is to help you become a fully devoted follower of Christ. Growth Track provides practical tools and guidance to help you grow in your faith and discover your purpose.

You can begin at any step in the process.

Why do you have Small Groups? +

Small Groups are a vital part of life at CFC. In fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced community through a Small Group.

Groups provide opportunities to build friendships, grow closer to God, and stay connected as our church continues to grow. We offer groups for all ages and interests, so there’s a place for everyone.

How can I get involved in a Small Group? +
