Hello, and welcome to our church!
Dr. Theo and Bev started Christian Family Church with the God-given vision to bring people into the family of Jesus Christ, develop them to Christian maturity and equip them for their ministry in the church in order to magnify God’s name.
On September 12, 1979, CFC held its first service in a gym in a shopping mall in Bedfordview. On the day, 200 chairs were put out, 2 people arrived and gave their lives to the Lord, and the next week those two invited two more people. This became a forecast of the supernatural growth the church would experience in the coming years.
There are currently more than 150,000 people attending our churches and more than 20,000 students have enrolled since 2007 in our Worldwide Bible Institute.
We are trusting God for more than 300,000 to attend CFC churches and more than 40,000 students to enroll in the years ahead.

1979
First service
Two hundred chairs in a Bedfordview gym. Two people came, and gave their lives to the Lord.
2002
CFC San Antonio
Dr. Theo and Dr. Beverley Wolmarans plant Christian Family Church in San Antonio, Texas.
2007
Bible Institute
The Worldwide Bible Institute opens its doors. More than 20,000 students have enrolled since.
Today
A global family
More than 150,000 people attend CFC churches around the world.
