After the recent flooding, many families are battling overwhelming obstacles. As part of our Christian Family Church Congregation, you can play a vital role in making a difference in their lives. Your involvement—whether large or small—can provide essential relief to those affected. Currently, we have three main ways for you to help: financial donations, supplying urgently needed items, and volunteering your time and skills.
Donate Financially
Financial donations are one of the most powerful ways to support flood victims. Each dollar you give directly aids families who have experienced significant loss. This financial help is crucial for meeting essential needs such as food, shelter, clothing, and essential items.
For example, consider that a single family may require around $400 for immediate food and shelter after such a disaster. If just 100 members of our congregation donate $10 each, that totals $1,000—enough to support several families during this challenging time. Your contributions instill hope and provide real aid. Remember, every little bit adds up, and together we can create a substantial impact.
Drop Off Urgently Needed Supplies
Donating supplies is another excellent way to make a tangible difference. We have created a specific list of urgently needed items to ensure your donations meet the immediate needs of those affected by the flood.

If you feel drawn to a more hands-on role, volunteering your time can be incredibly rewarding. There are many opportunities available, such as organizing supply drives, distributing items, and providing support at local shelters.
It is crucial to wait for further instructions before you head out to help. We want to ensure that all efforts are well-coordinated for maximum effectiveness. By following the established guidelines, you can be sure that your time and skills meet the most urgent needs of those affected by this disaster.
Together, We Make a Difference
Your support can genuinely change lives. Whether through financial assistance, donations of supplies, or volunteering, every action shines a light of hope in the midst of difficulties.
Thank you for being willing to step up and support those in need. Remember, your contribution—no matter how small—can help the hill country families impacted by the flood.
